Phototime Tuesday - Glass

Although not a great churchgoer I love religious iconography, both in carving and glass. This is a church relatively local to me, which has a school attached which my brother attended. Despite that association this was the first time I had ever been inside. I would have preferred to get closer to the windows but in deference to how close some were to altars and various statues I remained slightly away from where I would ideally have been.

My "New" Car

I've always enjoyed driving past this buiding, part of me can never resist looking at the reflection, how narcissistic! However, passing it today seemed too good a chance to miss taking a photo of my new purchase. The purchase being new rather than the car! And there's even a rare sighting of me!

Whilst I wasn't named because of the Saint, it is this day my father associates with me, probably more than my actual birthday. We don't have many dragons in London, and the only leeks tend to come in plastic bags in Tescos, so that leaves just the national flower of Wales, the Daffodil. So here are a few photos to celebrate Saint David, Patron Saint of Wales.

For Sherle who set the topic and others who are suffering snow still, although the weather is grey and murky here in London, Spring is very much on its way.
Just all be patient, like the magnificent Cypress in our local park. It has just seen its 380th winter since it has been there, and no doubt a few before that wherever it was originally grown.
